I recently got my '29 Nash 420 on the road but am experiencing noticeable wobble on the wood spoke wheels (speed limited to 30 mph). Spokes appear to be in excellent shape with no noticeable looseness at hub or rim connections so re-spoking is not anticipated to be required. I would like to identify someone experienced with truing wood spoke wheels which I assume would involve shimming between spokes and hub, adjusting inner rim (felloe) with respect to outer split rim, plus adjusting tire with respect to outer split rim to find the overall 'sweet' spot of the individual components. Balancing probably required after the run out has been reduced as much as possible.
Pls contact if able to assist or able to recommend someone. Thanks.
