Cowichan & Antique Chapter Meeting 2011
On
March 20, about 70 members of the Cowichan and Antique Chapters met
together at the Crofton Seniors' Centre on Vancouver Island. The
host Cowichan members provided an excellent pot luck luncheon for the
group. After splitting for a pair of brief meetings, the group
set off for a two-stop garage tour. The first stop was a Vern's
place, where we saw his collection of brass-era cars as well as some
beautiful newer cars. From there the group moved on to Geoff's
place which features a huge collection of tractors, farm implements,
and general automobilia. It was a most interesting afternoon and
a great opportunity for the two groups to socialize. Many thanks go to the Cowichan Chapter members for putting this event on.
